The White House is reportedly changing up its cellphone policy again.

According to CNN, staffers must now leave their phones in their offices or in lockers near the entrances to the West Wing before they can go into the Situation Room. This policy also applies to their government-issued cellphones.

Chief of staff John Kelly banned the use of personal cellphones in the West Wing back in January. But up until this most recent reported change, Trump administration staffers had been allowed to leave their government-issued cellphones in lockers outside the Situation Room.

This change comes after former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman said in August she secretly recorded Kelly firing her in the Situation Room.

At the time, national security experts told Politico that her recording was a potential security breach in what is supposed to be one of the most secure rooms in Washington.

Manigault Newman — who's been promoting a book about her time in the White House — released two more recordings of conversations Monday.

President Donald Trump's campaign has filed an arbitration claim accusing her of violating a 2016 nondisclosure agreement.
