Uber will continue to fight a British court ruling that grants its drivers workers rights.

On Wednesday, the U.K. Court of Appeal upheld several lower-court decisions that said Uber drivers should be classified as workers, not self-employed employees.

That means Uber might have to give drivers benefits like paid vacations and a minimum wage, which would cost the company significantly.

The company said in a statement obtained by several media outlets it will appeal the decision to the U.K's Supreme Court, arguing that drivers would lose "some of the freedom and flexibility that comes with being their own boss."

This is the third time Uber has lost in the courts on this issue.
