At least five people have been killed by a tropical cyclone in Mozambique, the second this season.

Cyclone Kenneth made landfall in the northeast part of the country Thursday as a Category 4 storm. Flooding from the system is expected to get worse over the weekend, partly because it's the end of the country's rainy season and water levels are already high.

The is the second big storm to hit Mozambique in recent weeks. In mid-March, Cyclone Idai made landfall in the southern part of the country. Idai killed at least 600 people and impacted more than 1.8 million people.

This is the first time in recorded history that two strong storms have hit Mozambique in the same season.
