Taiwan's president is pushing for investigators to quickly figure out what caused a passenger train to derail Sunday.

At least 18 people died and more than 170 others were injured when all eight of the train's cars flew off the tracks in northeast Taiwan just before 5 p.m. local time. Five of those cars flipped.

Officials said more than 360 people were on board the train at the time of the incident.

Investigators already met with the train's conductor, and they're reportedly looking into speed and a reported issue with the train's brakes as possible causes.

Sunday's derailment is Taiwan's deadliest rail accident since 1991, when 30 people were killed in a train collision.
