The suspected Pennsylvania synagogue shooter pleaded not guilty Thursday to dozens of federal charges against him.

A grand jury indicted Robert Bowers on 44 charges Wednesday, including federal hate crimes, for the shooting at Tree of Life synagogue. Eleven people were killed and six others were injured.

According to the indictment, Bowers walked into the building on Saturday with multiple guns and started shooting. He allegedly said he wanted to "kill Jews."

If convicted, Bowers could get the death penalty or life in prison without parole.
