Authorities are searching for possible gunmen after two Pennsylvania State Police troopers were shot Friday night during an ambush outside of police barracks in the northeastern part of the state.

Police say officer Bryon Dickson was killed and another officer, Alex Douglas, was injured but is now in stable condition. Additional officers have been called in from surrounding states to aid in the search for suspects. Police have not yet given any information about who they are looking for.

And it might be because they don't know themselves: "We do not have a description of them or any real information on their identity."

However, multiple outlets are reporting a man named Jeffrey Hudak was questioned by police.

The Times-Tribune reports Hudak was found while police were searching for suspects and was taken in for questioning. While he could very well have just been an innocent passerby, his name and picture has become associated with the shooting in the media.

Police still say no suspects have been arrested and will only say Hudak was questioned as a person of interest.

A local reporter showed his picture on her Facebook page and got some backlash in the comment section for doing so. One commenter wrote, "This poor guy won't be able to go anywhere without be looked at like he was involved. What a shame!"

Pennsylvania governor Tom Corbett has ordered that flag at the state capital be flown at half staff in honor of the fallen officer.
