Before heading home for the year, Michigan's state lawmakers passed even more power grabbing bills.

One would make it harder to get proposals on a statewide ballot. Michigan has 14 congressional districts, and if signed by the governor, the bill would limit the number of signatures that would be accepted from each district to 15 percent.

The other bill goes after the power of the incoming Democratic attorney general. It would allow the state legislature to intervene in court cases brought against the state.

Outgoing Gov. Rick Snyder hasn't said whether he'll sign the bills. He has until the end of the year to decide.
