Foxconn is rethinking its plans for a proposed Wisconsin facility.
The Taiwanese electronics company initially announced in 2017 that it was building a factory in Wisconsin, but now it's considering using the complex as an R&D site instead.
Former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was criticized for setting aside public funds for an incentive package for the facility.
But Foxconn still plans to move forward with development on the property and still aims to hire its initial goal of up to 13,000 workers.
