Videos of more than 250 children all exploited through a child pornography website will finally be taken down after police arrested the site's creator and 13 others.

A multi-agency investigation was described by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency — or ICE — as the "largest online child exploitation investigation" in its history.

"These alleged perpetrators preyed upon the most innocent and vulnerable of our society with no regard for the immediate or lasting harm they caused the victims and their families." (Via  KDAF)

To give a better idea of how big this website was, investigators say it had more than 27,000 subscribers from all across the globe and 2,000 different videos featuring 251 different children ranging in age from 17 to just 3 years old.

Investigators say one of the more disturbing details to the case is that most of the children featured on the horrific site had no idea they were on it.

Officials called this man the ringleader of the child porn website. They say Jonathan Johnson confessed to creating fake female online profiles to convince boys to make sexually explicit videos. If convicted, Johnson faces 20 years to life in prison. (Via WUSA)

Daniel Ragsdale, the deputy director of ICE, says this bust is a big deal. But he added, "we cannot arrest our way out of this problem: education is the key to prevention." (Via Flickr / CPB Photography)
