"To Serve And Protect" is the first visitors see on the Bunk Police website, along with an astronaut smashing a question mark.

Adam Auctor created Bunk Police in 2011 to ensure that people around the world know what's in the drugs they take. He believes that science and education are the tools we need to help win the war on drugs.

A flood of new substances enter the black market on a weekly basis, and for drug users, it can be scary not to know whether drugs are laced with potentially deadly substances. Yet people still ingest opioids, psychedelics and other drugs recreationally or habitually. That's why Bunk Police offers eight different substance test kits. That includes its newest fentanyl detection kit and a kit for mixed substances. They're legal to purchase, and the kits can ship anywhere in the world.

"We are not able to keep drugs out of solitary confinement in a federal penitentiary," Auctor said. "How are we ever going to keep it out of a club or a music festival or off of the streets? It is just impossible."
