Things got real on "The Late Late Show" last night.

"I just can't believe you guys have come to see me," James Corden cried.

OK, not really. Anna Faris and Joshua Jackson were just showing James Corden how actors make themselves cry on command. Turns out, not everyone can just think sad thoughts and let the waterworks flow.

There are special eye drops that can help, but they might sting a little.

Thanks for ruining the movie magic, guys.

"This is the perfect movie star tear you have going right now," Joshua said.

"Wait, now look three-quarters away and slightly up," he continued.

Anna's next movie is "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip," so we probably won't get to see how well her crying trick works there. But maybe we'll see it in action with Joshua on Showtime's "The Affair."
